CLOS SAINT-MICHEL, OLIVIER ET FRANCK MOUSSET, 2014 CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE BLANC
30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette, 20% Roussanne, 20% Bourboulenc. Exotic scents of acacia and wild mint jostle with honey, beeswax and vanilla. On the palate, subtle yet rich with concentrated tropical fruit flavours backed up with hints of green herbs. 'Waxy' in texture with a lengthy finish.
CHATEAU MOURGUES DU GRES, ANNE ET FRANCOIS COLLARD, 2016 COSTIÈRES DE NÎMES BLANC ‘GALETS DORES’
Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Vermentino and a soupcon of Clairette. This graceful white wine combines fruitiness and freshness. Notes of citrus fruits are mingled with the aromas of white flowers and a touch of minerality.

DOMAINE ALBERT BELLE, 2015 CROZES-HERMITAGE ‘LES PIERRELLES’
100% Syrah. Cherry-red with garnet highlights, the nose is very open, a basket of fresh fruit, blackcurrants, raspberries and juicy pomegranate. The first taste is a delight, gentle and flattering, suppleness dominates from the attack. The fine, silky tannins augment the volume in the palate and the sensation of pleasure. The finish is long, presenting a nice balance, with no heaviness.
LES VIGNERONS D’ESTEZARGUES, 2016 COTES DU RHONE ‘TERRE DE MISTRAL’
Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan. Ripe red/dark fruit aromas and that characteristic garrigue and pepper notes. Lovely softness in the mouth with velvety tannins and confit fruits building across the palate, hints of tobacco and leather and a nice spine of acidity from the Syrah as well as some spicy blackcurrant fruit.
DOMAINE DU MONTEILLET, STEPHANE MONTEZ, 2016 SAINT-JOSEPH ROUGE
100% Syrah. Seems quite light at first, but then puts on flesh after it has been open for half an hour. A wonderfully aromatic wine breathing black cherries, green and black olives, violets and mixed garrigue herbs.
DOMAINE MONTIRIUS, CHRISTINE AND ERIC SAUREL, VACQUEYRAS, 2012 ‘CLOS MONTIRIOUS’
50% Grenache, 50% Syrah. Stains the palate with energetic blackberry, cherry compote and candied lavender flavors, while a mineral element gives spine and focus. The floral quality resonates strongly on the finish, which features supple tannins and impressively persistent spiciness.
