Divino in Vino: A Fun Way To Learn About Wine

Divino in Vino is the brainchild of Silvia Pampaloni.

Growing up in Florence, it was inevitable for Silvia to be surrounded by wine culture. In 2013 she moved to London where she became fully involved in the avid and energising wine culture whilst studying for her WSET Level 3 and WSET Educator Certificate.

A trip to South Africa was all it took to shake up her previous relationship with wine. Travelling through the diverse landscapes, she was able to recognise that wine is indeed a very rooted product, which at times might be forgotten. Silvia is now studying for her WSET Diploma.

Divino in Vino is a boutique wine service based in London offering dynamic wine tastings, educational workshops and intimate events open to all. Silvia’s wine tastings and events are centred around helping one to understand how to interpret the diverse qualities that wine has to offer.

A Divino in Vino wine tasting is not about a right answer from Silvia, but rather it is about expressing yourself freely, contributing your experiences to the table, and participating in an open conversation with others. Silvia becomes a storyteller and wine becomes the story to tell.

The virtual wine tastings that Silvia hosts are workshops based on the difference between drinking and tasting, and discussing how to taste wine properly. During each session, she will be talking about the 3 steps for a successful wine tasting as well as fun facts about the producers and the interesting stories behind each label. 

Each session includes:

• 2 bottles of wine selected from Les Caves de Pyrène portfolio 
• 2 hours wine tasting on Zoom
• Tasting sheets suppled via email for people to take notes during the tasting.

Food pairing experiences as well as Live cooking classes are available on demand. Silvia is also happy to arrange bespoke tastings with a small tasting fee per person.
