Fine British food meets Les Caves wines at Albion

Our Sir Wregg will be hosting a fantastic wine-tasting dinner at Counter Albion on Wednesday 25th November.

"We’re excited to welcome Doug back to speak at our next supper club," said Albion. "He will give a tutored tasting of 10 wines showcasing the versatility of natural, biodynamic and orange wines, and their ability to pair with a variety of different dishes. As a long-standing advocate of terroir-driven wine, Doug is a leading light in the natural wine movement who has, in the past, written for various trade and consumer magazines such as Decanter, The Wine Merchant and Harpers."

"Our menu will feature some of the best produce from different regions across Britain: Cannon & Cannon-cured and air-dried charcuterie plus Albion terrine, followed by chicken and Cornish oyster pie. To finish, we’re serving three cheddar style cheeses from different parts of the country."
