Schuster wines deliver typical “deliciousity”

From the Wine Advocate (Neal Martin)

The 2008 SB has a succinct, captivating nose of white peach, cut grass, limestone and a touch of spice. Great definition.
The palate displays awesome balance and drive, a touch grassy on entry but on the back palate subtle notes of clementine,
lime and citrus lemon. Great tension - this is a classy sauvignon blanc. (score : 91)

Waipara Riesling 08 is very impressive with a complex, subtle dried apricote and mandarin scented bouquet counterpoised
against a more fruit driven palate, beautifully balanced and very aromatic with a passion fruit, white peach and a touch of
orange blossom and honeysuckle.

It is struck with great tension and the bottom line is that it is utterly delicious. Drink over the next 3-4 years. (score : 92)

Let me make it clear, the 2008 Twin Vineyards Pinot noir seemed pallid and a little green when first poured, but I am also glad
that after half hour it had developed into something much more. A slightly rustic, red-berried nose with wild hedgerow and earth,
very natural and understated. The palate has sharp entry, slightly herbaceous, light bodied but focused with a tart, spicy cherry
and soy-tinged finish, this is an anathema for those who are a sucker for bold fruit driven wines, but offers something more intellectual
for those that like their Pinot more nuanced. (score : 89)

The 2008 Waipara Selection PN is matured in french barriques and is blessed with a graceful, slightly leafy but fresh, succinct nose.
The palate is beatifulle balanced with a fresh, zesty acidity, a Pinot suffused with nonchalance and effortlessness. Light red cherry,
cranberry and recurrant, pert and focused on the finish, this is a classy, understated Pinot noir. Superb. Drink over 3-4 years.
(score :  92).
