Jancis recommends Jurassic Chardonnay and bonkers Pinot Grigio

Dom Ganevat Chardonnay 2007 Côtes du Jura 17 Drink 2009-13
Postively fizzing with wildlife. Slightly cidery but with masses of potential as well as reverberantly Jurassic charm. Only 13% and very vivacious and eloquent. Wax seal alert.

Dario Princic Pinot Grigio 2006 IGT Venezia Giulia17 Drink 2008-10
The oddest Pinot Grigio you are ever likely to taste. Very pale rose red, from PG’s pink skins. Rich almond-paste nose, as though the wine is going to be a bit sweet but in fact it is bone dry - if anything a little low in acidity and high in tannin, like an old-style German Pinot Noir (a relative after all). Fascinating and very long, this worms its way into your affections. 13.5%
