Grape Variety: Baroque

Colour:

White

A French grape found in Gascony (the South-West), used in particular for the production of Tursan Blanc. The best example is Michel Guerard’s Chateau de Bachen (and top cuvee Baron de Bachen) made from from 100% Baroque. These wines convey interesting notes of dried fruits, wild herbs and Noilly Prat (or, at least. I think so!)
