Our shop

Les Caves de Pyrene has always operated a retail outlet, from our humble beginnings in Farncombe, moving on to the centre of Guildford and most recently a large space under our offices at Pew Corner in Artington, just south of Guildford on the A3100 (next to the Park and Ride car park). We have large car parking facilities, and a plethora of extremely helpful strapping young men to give you a hand carrying your purchases to your car! If you visit us around lunchtime you might even be able to get to taste something our staff have opened to go with their food.

We stock our full range of wines at Pew which includes champagnes, spirits and eaux de vie, in addition to a small selection of food from the South West of France. We also carry a range of stemware by Riedel and Spiegelau and an interesting range of decanters.  Please note that some products are only kept in small quantities, so if you require a larger quantity of something please phone ahead to check availability in order to avoid disappointment. The bulk of our stock is maintained in a separate warehouse and can be ordered in on demand. We have a specific area for our fine wines with beautiful earthenware racking provided by Cavovin (http://www.cavovin.com).

If you are looking for inspiration for parties and weddings, we would be delighted to help out.
We will always be able to find the right wines to suit your needs, and we offer a free glass hire service.

We hold regular customer tastings in our shop, to which all are welcome, with wines available to buy at a 10% discount if ordered on the night. We hold an annual bin-end sale with savings of up to 75% on our wines. There is a pre-picked case of the month available with a 10% discount off the regular price.

Our shop is manned (or should we say womanned) by Virginie Champalou, with support from Stephen, Peter, our formidable warehouse manager, and Anthony, our intrepid driver.
